As a Board-Certified Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, I have a natural and genuine ability to assist those with mental health challenges, while providing peace and solutions to their pains, traumas, and confusion. I am licensed and currently practice in Georgia, Colorado and New Mexico. I treat all clients across the lifespan, children, adults and geriatrics. I use an authentic approach, which I feel is very important when it comes to individualized care, as every patient’s mental health challenge is different. I also am an individual who is transparent and doesn’t mind relating on a personal level.
I am from the South, raised in Atlanta, Georgia. I have southern hospitality roots, providing kindness and compassion within my clinical expertise with every client I encounter. I have an extensive educational background, along with eleven years of psychiatric clinical training. I have provided services within the healthcare industry for over 16 years. Working my way from a Certified Nursing Assistant to a Mental Health Provider has walked me through many avenues of life. My first love and passion is my commitment as a Registered Nurse. My experiences include Grady Health System (Orthopedics/Medical Surgical), Kaiser Permanente (Internal Medicine), Emory Healthcare (Medical Surgical/Surgical Trauma/ER/Wesley Woods Mental Health Hospital), Northeast Georgia Health System (Cardiology/Medical Surgical/Behavioral Health), Guardian Behavioral Health and obtaining a SANE (Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner) certification.
